Segment: With a maximum speed of 25kmph and a maximum power output of 250W, the new Velev Motors VEV 01 is positioned as a low-power entry-level electric scooter in the country. No registration is required for this scooter and it can be operated by anyone without a valid license.

Battery and Motor Specs: The new Velev Motors VEV 01 is offered with a 250W BLDC hub motor as standard and boasts a range of over 70 km on a single charge. This single-motor setup is powered by a 48V, 20Ah lithium-ion battery and boasts impressive performance for the package it has on offer. This battery can be charged using a standard 48V, 6A charger and takes around 3-4 hours to charge fully. A lightweight body and decent power output makes the new Velev Motors VEV 01 a good scooter for city commute and can be used for most purposes without major issues. It is worth noting the fact that the brand is offering a 1-year warranty as standard for the battery. 

Features: On the features front, the new Velev Motors VEV 01 is only offered with basic features like all-LED lights, telescopic front suspension and a digital console in addition ot basic features like riding modes and reverse mode. 

Colours: As standard, the new Velev Motors VEV 01 is offered in three colour options - Red, Blue, and Yellow.
