BMW India began taking reservations for its upcoming X4 SUV facelift for the Indian market last week. The German automaker will also release a limited Shadow edition of the coupe SUV with the facelift. Surprisingly, BMW India's website has already sold out of the X4 Black Shadow special edition ahead of its introduction. The Black Shadow edition is limited to only 50 units.

The India-spec BMW X4 could have BMW's signature kidney grille, dazzling LED Matrix headlights, LED tail lights, reworked bumpers, and other enhancements. The X4's interior is required to store a 12.3-inch digital driver display, a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen with BMW virtual Cockpit Professional, a panoramic sunroof, a head-up display, a 360-degree camera, three-zone climate control, six-color ambient lighting, and more. In the meanwhile, it will be available in a variety of interior colours and upholstery options.
The engine options will certainly remain the same as they were previously. A 2.0-litre turbocharged engine will power the petrol variant. Diesel models will have two engine options: a 2.0-litre four-cylinder and a 3.0-litre six-cylinder. The Steptronic Sport automatic transmission will be paired with both engines. The facelifted BMW X4 SUV is expected to arrive in the coming weeks.
Talking about the Black Shadow edition, it will be available in two variants: the X4 xDrive30i M Sport and the X4 xDrive30d M Sport. It features Brooklyn Grey and Black Sapphire exterior paints, as well as an all-black interior tone and red stitching. In terms of the regular X4, BMW might add more exterior and interior colour options.
