India's largest carmaker, Maruti Suzuki is offering up to Rs 40,000 discount in March 2021 for their cars in the Arena line-up. It's not a new story that such huge discounts are offered every month. They do it to increase car sales and brand value.

Maruti S-Presso
One of the funkiest looking hatchbacks, the S-Presso comes with a 1.0-litre engine option and this unit is paired to a 5-speed manual as well as an optional AMT unit. It also gets top of the line features like rear parking sensors, a large touchscreen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The S-Presso is available with a discount of Rs 40,000 which is the highest of all.

This is further seen as Rs 20,000 as exchange benefits and another Rs 20,000 as cash. For the exchange, you need to bring any of your old vehicle where the representative present will check your car and evaluate the cost right there.
Maruti Alto 800
Be it the CNG variant or the petrol you are opting for, Maruti is providing an attractive Rs 30,000 discount on every variant of the Alto 800. This is further seen as Rs 15,000 as flat cash and another Rs 15,000 as the exchange value.
Maruti Alto is powered by a 0.8L naturally aspirated, three-cylinder petrol engine which generates 47 bhp with 69 Nm of peak torque. This engine is paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox and currently no automatic is given with this engine.
Maruti Celerio
One of the old school design and the first car in the Indian market to feature an AMT gearbox, Maruti Celerio is available with a discount of Rs 40,000 which is further seen as Rs 20,000 cash and another Rs 20,000 as an exchange benefit.

The Celerio comes in a 1.0-litre, naturally aspirated petrol engine which makes 67 bhp with 90 Nm of peak torque. It gets a 5-speed manual as standard and an optional AMT gearbox. The hatchback sells in decent numbers in both the private and commercial segment.
Maruti WagonR
The popular hatchback is offered with a total discount worth Rs 23,000 for the CNG and the petrol models. This discount is further seen as Rs 15,000 as an exchange and the cash discount of Rs 8,000. It comes in two engine options - a 1.0-litre and a 1.2-litre.
Maruti Eeco
The 7-seater MPV is available with a total discount of Rs 30,000 which is further segregated as Rs 10,000 as cash and another Rs 20,000 as an exchange bonus. It comes with a 1.2-litre, four-cylinder BS6 compliant petrol engine only.
Maruti Swift
Country's loved hatchback which is great for aftermarket modification, the Swift is available with a discount of Rs 30,000 which is Rs 10,000 as cash and another Rs 20,000 as exchange. The hatchback just saw its new avatar with a new 1.2-litre DualJet petrol engine which churns out 90 PS with a peak torque of 113 Nm. It gets the same 5-speed manual and an AMT gearbox as before.
Maruti Dzire
The best selling compact sedan is available with a discount of Rs 28,000. It is seen as Rs 8,000 as cash and another Rs 20,000 as the exchange offer. Maruti Dzire is available in both manual and automatic variants but misses out on the company's S-CNG model. There are rumours that the CNG version of the Dzire will be launched soon.
Maruti Vitara Brezza
The compact SUV is available with Rs 30,000 discount which is seen as Rs 10,000 as cash and another Rs 20,000. The SUV is available with a 1.5-litre, four-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol motor which brings in 103 bhp with a peak torque of 138 Nm. This engine is paired with a 5-speed manual and an optional 4-speed torque converter unit.
