These new AC CNG buses will be fully BS6 compliant, and will also come equipped with features like GPS Navigation, CCTVs, Panic Buttons, etc.
The Delhi government has announced that it will add 100 new low-floor AC CNG buses to its fleet of 3,033 buses under the Cluster scheme. These new 12-meter long, buses will come equipped with GPS, CCTV camera, Panic buttons, and a video call facility in case of emergency. A separate row of pink seats will also be designed for women.
As per the Delhi Transport Minister, Mr Kailash Gahlot, the new AC CNG buses are fully BS6 compliant. Speaking on the occasion of this announcement, Mr Gahlot tweeted, Congratulations Delhiites. Another step of the Delhi government in the direction of strengthening public transport service.
The buses have already been unveiled yesterday and will start operations in the coming weeks. This is the first announcement in 2022 from the transport department, regarding these new AC buses. Earlier in November, the Delhi cabinet had approved the same low-floor air-conditioned CNG buses, 190 of them.

Back then the transport minister had tweeted, Congrats Delhi! Cabinet today, under the leadership of Hon'ble CM @ArvindKejriwal cleared the proposal for induction of 190 Low floor AC CNG buses fitted with CCTV, GPS, Panic buttons, and differently-abled friendly (sic)." The Delhi government is also slated to add 3500 electric buses to its public Cluster fleet.
