
MG has launched the much-awaited Gloster at a phenomenal price of 28.98 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi. With this, it is cheaper by Rs 1 lakh from the Ford Endeavour which is its closest rival in terms of features. The prices of the MG Gloster are introductory and it will increase after 31st October 2020 or once the bookings reach to first 2000 customer. The Gloster from MG will be offered in four variants and will cater to every buyer's need.

As far as the prices of the MG Gloster goes then it is good considering the number of features the tech-laden SUV is offering. One of the interesting things about the Gloster is that the lower variants - Super and Smart will be offered in 2.0L single-turbo while the Sharp and Savvy will be offered with bi-turbo which eventually leads to more power and torque.

Coming to the specs then the 2.0L engine used in Super and Smart makes 163 PS of power with a peak torque of 375 Nm. And the remaining Sharp and Savvy houses the bi-turbo diesel engine which makes as much as 218 PS with 480 Nm of peak torque. It is the latter variants which will get on-demand intelligent 4-Wheel drive system.

Feature-wise, the Gloster is fully loaded as it gets a larger 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also receives the MG's i-SMART 2.0 Connectivity with over 70 connected features. The higher variants also get tri-zone climate control, dual-pane panoramic sunroof, wireless charger, PM 2.5 Filter, 8.0-inch MID, several driving modes and among others. Yes, this is a featured loaded SUV and that too on a budget.
Safety features on this one include as many as seven airbags, all-wheel disc brakes, ESP, traction control, lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control, hands-free parking, autonomous emergency braking, 360-degree camera, blind-spot detection system and many more.
