It is also the handsome-looking SUV out there but the interiors being all-black just doesn't strike some. Sharing details on the exteriors then it gets ceramic coating along with the dual-tone treatment. The gloss black colour on the roof, spoiler and the ORVMs really give it a premium look. It surely resembles the higher variants where the OEM provides dual-tone treatment itself.
On the inside, the company provides all-black interiors only. However, in this one, the changes start from the dashboard as it gets a wooden finish with a brown and black colour scheme. It kind of looks odd but then it was the owner's interest.
Furthermore, the console where the USB and charging sockets now get tan brown colour leather treatment. This colour scheme is observed on the door pads, seat covers, steering wheel, gear knob and other places. One also gets a functional armrest here.
The seat covers now get perforated treatment so it brings in more comfort and in the hot season, it doesn't;t warm that much. The steering wheel also gets dual tan brown and black treatment with white stitching. This gives it a premium feel overall.
To complete the overall look, the door pads get black leather and tan brown treatment whereas the door handles gets a similar wooden treatment as seen on the dashboard. Overall, the fit and finish of the products are fine as said by the modifier.
Renault Kiger is available in two engine options - a 1.0L naturally aspirated petrol and a more powerful 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine. The naturally aspirated version churns out 72 PS of power with a peak torque of 96 Nm whereas the turbo petrol brings in 100 PS with 160 Nm of peak torque. Both the engines are mated to a 5-speed standard and an AMT is reserved for the 1.0L naturally aspirated motor whereas the X-Tronic CVT for the turbo petrol. In the CVT, the peak torque of 152 Nm.
