Every month carmakers bring in discounts for several models in their portfolio to increase the market share and the sales. This February 2021 too is no different as the popular Skoda India is offering discount worth Rs 1 lakh on some of its models.

Skoda Karoq
Being a CBU has its own benefits as it comes with all the bells and whistles. However, there's a drawback too and that is the higher pricing. Built on the same platform as the Volkswagen T-Roc, still, the Karoq has higher pricing and attracting lower sales.

Skoda is offering a huge discount of up to Rs 1 lakh on the Karoq and this is further seen as Rs 35,000 as the exchange and another Rs 35,000 as the loyalty bonus. The latter is related to the buyers only when they are existing Skoda consumers. Another Rs 30,000 is reserved for the corporate discount.
The Karoq is powered by a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine and it generates as much as 150 PS of power with a peak torque of 250 Nm. This engine is paired with a 7-speed DSG gearbox which not only is powerful and quick but is also fuel-efficient.
Skoda Rapid
One of the cheapest sedans in the country right now, the Rapid is available with a total discount of Rs 40,000. This is further seen as Rs 25,000 of exchange bonus and another Rs 15,000 as the corporate. However, this offer cannot be availed on the Rider Plus variants.

Powering the Rapid is a 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine which generates as much as 110 PS of power and a peak torque of 175 Nm. The prices of the Skoda Rapid starts from Rs 7.79 lakh and the top model fetches till Rs 13.29 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi.
