Vespa has globally introduced this limited edition Vespa 986 Dragon scooter, which has made its way to India via the CUB route. It is priced at Rs 14.28 lakh (ex-showroom price). This special collection was introduced to mark the occasion of the Lunar New Year, which holds significant cultural importance.

In the Chinese zodiac, each year is represented by an animal, with the dragon being the fifth in the cycle and closely associated with Lunar New Year celebrations.

Vespa 946 Dragon Limited Edition: Collector's Item

The Vespa 946 Dragon Edition is available in a limited series of 1888 units globally. Interested buyers can book this model at any Piaggio Motoplex showroom in India. This special edition is uniquely numbered, adding to its exclusivity.

Vespa 946 Dragon Limited Edition: Durable Frame & Classic Unique Design

Handcrafted in Italy, the Vespa 946 Dragon Limited Edition boasts dragon-themed decals, including an emerald dragon face on the front apron and a tail design on the side. It features a sleek body with a circular LED headlamp equipped with a heat-dissipating system and rectangular indicators on the apron. The scooter includes a single-seat saddle, a smooth rear profile, and a circular LED tail lamp.

Its frame combines a sturdy steel plate monocoque with aluminium rims, handlebar, side panels, front mudguard, mirror supports, and saddle support, blending strength with aesthetic appeal.

Vespa 946 Dragon Limited Edition: Hardware

This scooter runs on a 150cc engine and features a sturdy metal-monocoque body. For the front suspension, it utilizes a single arm with a coil spring and a single shock absorber. In the rear, there's a single hydraulic shock absorber with preload adjustable in five positions.

Safety features include dual-channel ABS with an ASR system. The braking system consists of 220 mm disc brakes both at the front and rear. It rides on tubeless 12-inch tyres both in the front and rear, providing stability and comfort on the road.
