Last Updated on 9th June'25: It appears the Hero Xoom 160 is finally ready for customer deliveries. Though this moto scooter was launched in Jan’25, customers have been waiting to get it home. As per sources, the Xoom 160 will start moving off the showroom floors in two months from now.
The Hero Xoom 160 boasts a maxi style, tailored for adventure riding. While there haven't been any recent updates on this model, Hero has recently announced a price increase for its entire range of two-wheelers, which will take effect from July 1st.

The Xoom 160 gets a split LED headlamp and a tall windscreen, which gives it an almost ADV-like appearance from the front.

The body panels and the paint schemes have been styled to give it a more rugged look, which is further complemented by the 14-inch alloy rims wearing block-pattern tyres.

From the rear, the Xoom 160 maintains the rugged, substantial look and it does not look disproportionate from any angle.

- The Xoom 160 is powered by a 156cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder powertrain that produces 14.6bhp at 8000rpm and 14Nm of torque at 6000rpm, while paired to a CVT gearbox.
- The underbone chassis is suspended on conventional telescopic forks, and twin shock absorbers at the rear. The braking on the Xoom 160 is also a front-disc and a rear-drum setup.
- It does not get a flat floorboard, with the 7-litre fuel tank placed in the middle, giving the rider the feel of a motorcycle.

- The Xoom 160 comes with an LCD screen, but with bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, silent-start, and single-channel ABS.

Hero MotoCorp has opened bookings today for Rs 7,500 and announced that deliveries will also begin this month. The Xoom 160 is priced at Rs 1,48,500 (ex-showroom) and is available in a single variant.
The Hero Xoom 160, a performance maxi scooter from the homegrown brand was launched at the Auto Expo 2025 in January this year with the deliveries slated for launch in April, but things took a turn, and the bookings are now halted, and the deliveries have been deferred for a later date.
Hero Xoom 160, the maxi-scooter from Hero Motorcorp, which was launched at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, is now open for bookings with a token amount of Rs 5000. This first-of-its-kind scooter for mass markets is available at an ex-showroom price of Rs 1.48 lakh. Additionally, deliveries of the Xoom 160 will start by the first week of March.
