The SR-GP Edition continues with the familiar silhouette of the Aprilia SR 175, retaining its core design that has remained largely unchanged over the years. What sets this version apart are the race-inspired graphics borrowed from the Aprilia Racing RS-GP MotoGP machines, featuring striking red and purple decals over a Matte Black base. The scooter also carries sponsor-style stickers reminiscent of Aprilia’s MotoGP livery, giving it a sharper, track-focused visual identity.

The Aprilia SR 175 and Aprilia SR 125 have been positioned at the premium end of the sporty scooter segment. Following the implementation of the revised GST structure, both models have become more accessible. The SR 175, which recently replaced the SR 160 in the lineup, now carries a price tag of Rs 1.17 lakh, down from its earlier Rs 1.27 lakh, making it a more attractive proposition for performance-focused buyers.

Aprilia India has quietly introduced the Aprilia SR 175 in the Indian market, replacing the outgoing SR 160. Priced at Rs 1.26 lakh (ex-showroom), the new scooter is powered by a 174.7cc single-cylinder engine that produces 12.9hp at 7,200rpm and 14.14Nm of torque at 6,000rpm, positioning it as a sportier alternative in the premium scooter segment.

In a move that hints at an imminent launch, select dealerships across India have started accepting unofficial bookings for the highly anticipated Aprilia SR 175. This upcoming performance scooter marks a significant upgrade over the outgoing SR 160, offering more displacement, modern features, and an evolved user experience.
