Aprilia SR 175 SR-GP Edition Details

The SR-GP Edition retains the core design of the SR 175, which continues to be familiar even after all these years. However, it now gets decals inspired by the RS-GP bikes in the Aprilia MotoGP team. The red and purple graphics enhance the core Matte Black paint scheme, and it also gets all the sponsors from Aprilia's MotoGP bikes stickered here as well.
The 14-inch wheels continue to sit on alloy rims finished in black, and they get a red surround. Additionally, the pillion grab rail is also finished in Matte Black. There are no other visual changes to the scooter.

It also retains the standard 175's mechanicals, featuring the 174.7cc, air-cooled engine producing 12.7bhp and 14.14Nm of torque. It continues to hang off of conventional telescopic forks and twin shock absorbers. In terms of features, it gets a new TFT instrument cluster with bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, and call/SMS alerts to name a few things.
Verdict
The SR 175 recently got its prices slashed with the new GST rates kicking in, and while this limited edition does not come with too many substantial updates, there is a batch of MotoGP fans who would love to lap this up.
