The BMW CE 04 is a premium electric maxi-scooter aimed at tech-forward urban riders with comfort, performance and connectivity at their core desire. It makes its place with its powerful electric drivetrain, sharp styling and advanced rider tech, while also offering a spacious riding position and large storage capacity. The overall package feels refined and forward-thinking. That said, its premium positioning may be below some commuter budgets. The CE 04 makes sense for riders who want a future-ready electric scooter with strong real-world usability with a premium badging.

BMW CE 04 Latest Update

Last Updated On 30th June'25 : BMW Motorrad will globally unveil the updated CE 04 electric scooter on July 3, 2025. A teaser reveals a new matte blue finish with the CE 04 badging, hinting at design tweaks and possibly more than cosmetic changes. The scooter’s stretched, futuristic styling may remain, but we expect improvements in aerodynamics or comfort. The updated version may retain the same powertrain setup with improved battery efficiency, thermal performance and regenerative braking. On the feature front, it is expected to get some UI and connectivity upgrades. Priced at Rs 15.25 lakh in India, the updated CE 04 is expected here after its global debut, possibly with a small price hike.

The BMW CE 04 is the brand’s first electric two-wheeler offering in India. The newly launched electric scooter is priced at Rs. 14.90 lakh (ex-showroom) in India. The BMW CE 04 produces a maximum power output of 15000 W from its potent motor. The electric scooter gets safety features such as disc brakes and ABS. It is available in single variant and colour options in India.

My cost for maintaining this BMW CE 04 is quite normal. As EV scooters have low maintaince cost i invest mainly in cleaning and polishing this scooter.

The seat is flat and floating due to which I can easily access from any side of vehicle.Also it becomes easy and iI experinence less fatigue on long journeys.

It quickly accelerates on giving race. Also the pickup is quite impressive.Also the top speed I tried on a free highway is around 117-119 km/h.

It has a very powerful electric motor with three modes Eco, Rain and Road. It also has an optional Dynamic mode which offers more aggressive performance.The best part of this scooter is that the motor is directly mounted over chassis which makes the balance of this scooter stable enough on high speeds.
