Following reports of the tyre switch, the Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 fitted with Apollo Tramplr XR tyres has now begun arriving at dealerships, with deliveries already underway. The move replaces the earlier Pirelli setup, marking a notable change in the motorcycle’s hardware specification for the Indian market.

Prospective buyers of the Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 may need to adjust expectations, as the model will no longer be offered with Pirelli tyres. The shift is reportedly linked to regulatory changes restricting certain imported tyre specifications, rather than a brand-led decision. As a result, the motorcycle will now be supplied with alternative tyre options in the Indian market.

The 2024 Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 have been launched in India at Rs 2.92 lakh where the updated Svartpilen 401 retains its rugged identity but features a larger round LED headlamp with a distinct LED ring, revised proportions, redesigned side panels, and a small front visor.

As per media reports, the Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 is set for an imminent launch in India, likely in January. Unofficial bookings have reportedly begun at select dealerships with a token amount of Rs 5,000. The motorcycle is currently in its testing phase, and recent road sightings have offered a clearer look at its updated design and hardware ahead of the official debut.

A fresh spy video has surfaced showing the 2023 KTM 390 Duke alongside the upcoming Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 undergoing road tests. Although both motorcycles were heavily camouflaged, the Husqvarna was spotted for the first time with alloy wheels instead of the usual spoke setup.
