The 2024 Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 and Vitpilen 250 have made their debut in India, priced at Rs. 2.92 lakhs and Rs. 2.19 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi), respectively. This latest iteration of Husqvarna motorcycles brings significant enhancements, encompassing revamped styling, upgraded engines, improved chassis, and additional features. Svartpilen 401 Launched At Rs. 2.92 Lakhs

On the design front, the 2024 Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 retains its rugged aesthetics, showcasing a larger round LED headlight with an LED ring on the periphery. The overall proportions of the motorcycle have been enhanced, featuring redesigned side panels and a visor at front. The side-mounted exhaust has been replaced by a new underbelly setup, and the single-side-mounted tyre hugger has been replaced with a proper tail setup. The latest Svartpilen 401 also utilizes a new trellis frame borrowed from its Austrian sibling.

Mechanically, the 2024 Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 is powered by a 398.6cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, delivering 46bhp at 9,000rpm and 39Nm at 7,000rpm. The engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox and features a bi-directional quick-shifter. The motorcycle comes with a few electronics, including ride-by-wire, traction control, Supermoto ABS, a five-inch TFT display with optional smartphone connectivity, and a type-C charging port.

The 2024 Husqvarna 401 boasts adjustable WP Apex USD front forks and an adjustable WP Apex mono-shock for a customizable riding experience. Its braking system comprises a 320mm front disc and a 240mm rear disc, both equipped with dual-channel ABS. Rolling on 17-inch spoke wheels, the motorcycle is fitted with 110/70 front and 150/60 rear Pirelli block pattern tires. With a 13.5-litre fuel tank, the Svartpilen 401 weighs in at 171.2kg.

In 2024, the Vitpilen 250 exhibit an evolutionary design, retaining the iconic round LED headlight with DRL and showcasing a visually dominant white-colored tank cover. The streamlined side and tail panels, replacing the split design of the older Vitpilen, contribute to a sleeker appearance. Distinctive features include the front fender, single-piece seat, copper-bronze accents on the engine cases and fuel cap, a fluorescent-colored stripe, and alloy wheels. The bike stands out with its attractive and unique aesthetic, featuring enhancements over its predecessor. Noteworthy features comprise a new 5-inch LCD, traction control, ride-by-wire, Quickshifter +, switchable ABS, and a Type-C charging port.

Vitpilen 250

Propelling the motorcycle is a 249.07cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine, delivering 30.57bhp at 9,500rpm and 25Nm at 7,500rpm. This powerplant is coupled with a six-speed gearbox. The latest Vitpilen 250 model boasts improved features, including a 25mm higher ground clearance at 177mm, a more accessible seat height of 820mm, and a reduced pillion seat height of 877mm. Additionally, the seat length has increased by 100mm for enhanced comfort. The fuel tank capacity has grown to 13.5 liters from the previous 9.5 litres, while the kerb weight stands at 163.8kg. The bike features a steel trellis frame, a 43mm USD fork by WP, and a preload-adjustable monoshock. Braking is efficient with a 320mm front disc and a 240mm rear disc.

Husqvarna's latest range undergoes a significant overhaul, introducing new designs, engines, chassis, and features.
