Royal Enfield has officially launched the Shotgun 650, drawing inspiration from its predecessor, the SG650 Concept unveiled at EICMA 2021. Boasting a retro-futuristic design, this motorcycle is hitting the market with a starting price of #6699 in the UK and ,7590 in Europe (Germany and France). For our Indian enthusiasts, bookings kick off today, and starting March 2024, you can take this beauty for a spin or have it delivered to your doorstep. The price range in India starts from Rs 3,59,430 and goes up to Rs 3,73,000.

The Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 seamlessly combines classic and modern elements in its design. The bike features a stunning custom nacelle with a contemporary twist, housing a powerful LED headlamp for enhanced visibility. Embracing a blend of retro and futuristic styles, the Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 is a custom-inspired motorcycle that comes in four distinctive colours: Stencil White, Plasma Blue, Green Drill, and Sheet Metal Grey.

The Shotgun 650 boasts a high-tech digital-analogue instrument panel featuring the Tripper navigation system, providing all essential information for your rides. A standout feature is the Royal Enfield Wingman, a newly introduced in-app tool that keeps you in the loop with real-time updates on your bike's location, fuel, engine oil levels, service reminders, and more. Plus, there's a handy USB charging port for your convenience.

Under the hood, the Shotgun 650 is powered by a robust 648cc parallel-twin engine, delivering a punchy 47PS at 7250 RPM and a torque of 52.3Nm at 5650 RPM. While factors like weather and riding style can influence mileage, the Super Meteor 650, in compliance with CMVR, offers a fuel efficiency of 22 kmpl.

The Shotgun 650 is designed to bring double the fun with its user-friendly features. Its ergonomic design includes a mid-set foot position, a low 795mm seat height, and an intuitive handlebar position, providing riders with a commanding sense of control. Riding the Shotgun is a pleasure in various settings  from traffic to highways to twisty back roads. The specially tuned suspension, featuring 43mm dia. separate function big piston Showa forks in the front and a twin tube 5-step preload adjust RSU at the back, along with a 1465mm wheelbase and low centre of gravity, ensures both fun and comfort. The wide 18 front and 17 rear tubeless tires, combined with 320mm and 300mm disc brakes, offer a steady grip and control at all speeds. From bar end mirrors to a sculpted solo seat and contrast-cut billet rims, these accessories enhance the bike's aesthetic appeal.

The Shotgun 650 is initially launched in European and UK markets, hitting the roads in February 2024. It will later be available in the Americas and across the Asia-Pacific region in spring 2024.
