The 450 SX-F looks rather sharp, while still bearing the same minimalist design approach typical of a dirt bike.

Similar to the 250 SX-F, the 450 SX-F also gets an interesting tri-tone paint scheme, with a mix of purple and white inserts thrown in with the dominant orange shade.

The 450 SX-F gets a new fuel tank roll, which makes for a tighter, more secure fitment thus improving durability.

The 450 SX-F gets a 449cc, liquid-cooled, four-stroke engine, which produces 62.7bhp at 9500rpm and 74Nm of torque at 9500rpm, paired to a 5-speed transmission with a quickshifter.

The 5-speed gearbox comes equipped with a quickshifter, and the engine also comes with launch control, which can be engaged by pressing the traction control button. Traction control can also be engaged via the same button.

There are two engine maps available on this bike; the first gives more linear power delivery, while the second map gives you explosive power from the get-go.
