The Primary role of AdBlue in modern diesel vehicles is to help reduce harmful exhaust emissions so that they can meet latest Bharat standard norms.

Moreover, AdBlue operates alongside an SCR system, which is specifically engineered to minimise harmful nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions released through the exhaust gases of diesel-powered vehicles. However, despite being associated with diesel engines, AdBlue is not something that mixes with the fuel itself. Instead, it has a dedicated storage tank and is automatically injected into the exhaust system when required.
