Last Updated on 26th Feb'24: The Ferrari Purosangue, though technically an SUV, is marketed as Ferrari's first four-door sportscar. It boasts a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 engine, generating 725hp and 716Nm of torque. Equipped with an 8-speed transaxle dual-clutch automatic gearbox for the rear wheels and an additional 2-speed gearbox for the front wheels, it offers all-wheel drive capability.
What we know so far?
The Purosangue will be powered by a more classic Ferrari V-12 engine. It's unclear whether this will be the same 6.5-litre engine used in the 812 Superfast. Ferrari offers a diverse range of eight- and 12-cylinder engines, with unconfirmed reports pointing to a plug-in hybrid powertrain based on an as-yet-unveiled V6 engine. Four-wheel drive and an automatic transmission will be standard. Purosangue is planned to have a height-adjustable, long-travel suspension system as well as a high ground clearance.
