Engine: In the international market, the Ford is offered with a 2.3L EcoBoost 4-cylinder engine generating 270 bhp and 420 Nm of torque. Alternatively, there's a 2.7L EcoBoost engine with 315 bhp and 542 Nm of torque, and a V6, 3.0L EcoBoost engine producing 405 bhp and 582 Nm of torque. The 4X4 guise is available across these engines as standard, while a 4X2 version is also available for the 2.3L engine. However, in the Indian market, there will be different powertrain options available.

Brake and suspension: The brake system is anticipated to include four-wheel power disc brakes equipped with a four-sensor, four-channel antilock braking system. Additionally, it is expected to feature AdvanceTrac electronic stability control.

Features: The upcoming model is anticipated to offer a range of exciting features, including a new infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a digital instrument cluster, manual tilt/telescoping steering, keyless entry, manual air conditioning, a locking glove box, cruise control, airbags, four-wheel anti-lock brakes, a rearview camera, and more.

Colour: The available colour options for the upcoming Ford range model in India are yet to be confirmed. However, for the international model, the listed colour options include Cactus Gray, Carbonized Gray, Azure Gray, Iconic Silver, Oxford White, Hot Pepper Red, Velocity Blue, and Shadow Black. While it's expected that some of these colours will be available for the India model, the names might be the same or different, and the options could be slightly fewer.

Rivals: Upon its launch in India, it will directly rival the Toyota Hilux and the Isuzu D-Max.

Ground clearance: The expected ground clearance is anticipated to be between 220 mm and 270 mm.
