Honda Civic Latest Update
Most car enthusiasts in India have grown up admiring the Civic brand name. Years of patience finally reaped results when Honda launched the all-new model on 7th March 2019 in both petrol and diesel engine options. Though the latter is no more on sale due to BS6 emission norms, the Civic continues to sell, being more popular among buyers than its own elder cousin, the CR-V. And why not?
One look at the Civic and you will be floored. The low slung (and wide) stance looks extremely sporty and the first in segment 17-inch wheels add to the bulk. The rear is unconventional and is a hit with most car fans out there. Likewise, the cabin remains a good place to be, offering features, comfort levels and space for five adults. Inspite of a sloping rear roof, head room at the back is excellent.
The 1.8 petrol is a gem of a unit and though only offered with a CVT, goes about doing its duties in an able manner. It is surprisingly very frugal and offers immediate momentum in urban conditions. Light controls further make the Civic a very good daily car.
Honda also offers a buy back scheme as well as a lease option for owners. All in all, if you are looking for a stylish, comfortable and a premium D segment sedan, the Civic could be the right pick.
Honda Civic was discontinued in 2021.
