I have a 2018 Mahindra Scorpio S5 black colour which has 35 thousand kilometres on the odo. The vehicle has been extremely reliable so far and is comfortable. I usually travel with my family and no one has any issues with the car apart from the lack of storage and utility spaces. The service costs of the vehicle have never crossed Rs 5000 and the support from the brand is great. The build quality of the vehicle is great and the design of the car makes it very attractive and bold. The car is easy to drive and the visibility from the driver’s seat is great and it is very easy to drive this vehicle in the city traffic and in narrow spaces. I will definitely recommend this vehicle to anyone who needs a comfortable, affordable, and reliable SUV for family use.
I have a 2015 Mahindra Scorpio S11 in black colour which has run about 70 thousand kilometres as of now. I bought this car because it was one of the most affordable and reliable 7-seater cars that were available in the market back then. The design of the car is great and has a proper SUV stance. Apart from that, my car has never let me down so far. The engine is supremely powerful and pulls strongly. The refinement levels of this oil burner may not be the best but it is its great reliability and powerful output which made me go for it. The seats are comfortable but there is a dearth of utility spaces and bottle holders inside the car. The fuel economy figures that I get from this engine stands at around 14-15 KMPL on mixed usage. The service experience from the brand is nothing too special and is decent.
Mahindra Scorpio I love this car and this is my second Scorpio. I brought a new model in 2019 itself after selling my first-gen Scorpio. This new model is more on features and technology but I felt that the older car was much better when driven. This is the S7 model and I have completed 10,000 km on this one. My major runs are on the highways and the engine on this is quite powerful and more refined. The suspension problem are there like the previous one but hardcore Scorpio fans know that this is the thing they have to deal with. I like the touchscreen controls and the company fitted power windows and my older car lacked it all. I am looking forward to decent experience in my new Scorpio like I had it earlier.
Mahindra Scorpio I am having this car for the last 12 years and apart from the coolant flush, brake pad replacement, clutch pedal replacement and new wiper blades there’s isn’t any problem I faced. The car is a beast and can go to any terrain. I have done Ladakh twice and Spiti Valley close to 10 times and apart from the bad suspension, this car is Solid. The safety features are just pathetic but then this car is built only for terrains of India. It is my beast and I have done close to 2 lakh km on this one and the average is still 14 km/l on highways. That is a plus point for this one.
Mahindra Scorpio S10 This is a 2015 model and I have covered around 70,000 km on this SUV. It gives me a good mileage of 14 km/l on the highways and the City mileage in bumper to bumper traffic sticks between 10 km/l only. The major downside is the suspension which literally makes you throw off when you are driving in the mountains. For the driver it still feels okay but if the car is fully packed with passengers then the problem arises. This car is solid and comes with alloy wheels, touchscreen and more. Till now I have not faced any issues in this SUV and it only goes strong with time.
