The next-generation Toyota Hilux is all set to make its global debut on November 10, 2025, with teaser images already hinting at a tougher and more modern design. While it continues on the trusted ladder-frame setup, expect big upgrades inside the cabin, smarter tech and new electrified powertrain options, all while keeping its core rugged pickup character intact.

The Toyota Hilux Black Edition has been launched in India at Rs 37.90 lakh (ex-showroom), bringing an all-black cosmetic package over the standard model. It features blacked-out styling elements like grille, alloys and ORVMs, while retaining the same 2.8-litre diesel engine, 4x4 setup, and feature list. The update is purely cosmetic, enhancing its road presence without any mechanical changes.

The Toyota Hilux is witnessing strong demand in India, leading to extended waiting periods of several weeks across variants. High bookings, limited production and steady demand for its rugged lifestyle appeal are contributing to the delay, while deliveries continue in a phased manner depending on variant and region.

The Toyota Hilux now comes with a 70% assured buyback scheme, allowing buyers to return the vehicle after three years at a fixed resale value. The offer is linked with Toyota Financial Services and aims to reduce ownership cost while making the premium lifestyle pickup more accessible.
