1. Keyless System

The new 2026 Suzuki Burgman Street ups the tech quotient with its Keyless System that uses a remote keyfob, eliminating the requirement to take the keys out of your pockets for turning the scooter on. Not just this, it steps further to offer an Answer Back functionality where you can press the button on the keyfob to locate your scooter in the parking area. While this is not something new for scooters, as we have already seen these before, like with the Activa itself, this is a welcome move.
Variants Available: This is available on the top-spec Ride Connect TFT variant only
Rivals with the same features:
Neither the Yamaha Aerox nor the TVS Ntorq, two of its main rivals, offer a keyless system.
2. 4.2-inch Colour TFT LCD Screen

Another feature that makes Burgman even more appealing is its 4.2-inch TFT LCD coloured display that comes with connected features and navigation. Notably, the lower version gets a monochrome screen, which, although it functions well, isn't as intuitive and vibrant as this one.
Variants Available: This is available at the top-spec Ride Connect TFT variant trim only.
Rivals with the same features:
TVS Ntorq 125 gets a coloured display with Bluetooth and connected features.
Yamaha Aerox, although it offers connected features and navigation, its uses a monochrome negative LCD display.
3. USB Charging Port (2A)
With our smartphones being with us always and with the navigation system in use, the need for a constant power supply is a no-brainer. Suzuki Burgman Street offers a USB charging port for juicing up your smartphones on the go. While this feature, again, is nothing new for scooters, it remains one of the few essentials that, when missing, sure makes its absence felt.
Variants Available: This is available from the lower Ride Connect variant trim onwards
Rivals with the same features: Both the Aerox and the Ntorq offer a USB charging port, matching the Burgman in this segment.
4. Suzuki Easy Start System (One Push Start)

The Burgman Street comes with the Suzuki Easy Start System, which lets you start the scooter with a single press of the starter button, without needing to hold it down. The system automatically manages the cranking process, ensuring a smooth and consistent engine start every time. This, coupled with the keyless remote function on the top-spec trim, makes it a breeze to operate the scooter.
Variants Available: This is available from the lower Ride Connect variant trim onwards
Rivals with the same features: Both the Aerox and the Ntoq offer a one-push button start system.
5. All LED Lighting Set-up

The Suzuki Burgman Street gets all-LED lighting all around, including an LED headlamp, LED tail lamp, and LED indicators. This setup ensures better illumination and visibility while also enhancing the scooter's modern look, not to mention that the efficiency of LEDs is better than that of traditional halogens.

Rivals with the same features: Both the Aerox and the Ntoq offer LED lighting setup.

Verdict
The 2026 Suzuki Burgman Street builds on its premium maxi-scooter appeal with meaningful upgrades, which are quite prominent in their overall effect. Connected tech, keyless convenience, and a new TFT display pushes it further upmarket, while improvements in engine refinement enhance everyday usability. Practicality remains a strong suit with generous storage and comfortable ergonomics, making it well-suited for daily commuting as well as longer city runs. While performance gains are incremental, the overall package remains polished and more feature-rich than before, propelling it for a better positioning against its rivals.
