Citroen Aircross X

First of all, the new pricing is even lower than what the Aircross had become after the revised GST rates. It now starts at just Rs 8.29 lakh, making it Rs 3,000 more affordable. Moreover, the top variant - the Max with a 1.2L turbo engine - costs Rs 13.49 lakh (ex-showroom) and comes with a 7-seat configuration. Compared to the earlier trim, this is Rs 60,900 cheaper. This is fantastic pricing, considering the Aircross X is a mid-size SUV in the Hyundai Creta league, yet it's being offered at a price closer to sub-4-meter SUVs.

Other important new features are - a bezel-less 10.25 inch infotainment screen, 7-inch digital cluster, a redesigned gear level, ventilated front seats. These do increase its desirability.

This SUV also has its own-voice assistant, called CARA, a Citroen developed software which is multilingual, intuitive, and contextually aware in-car companion. Verdict
This is definitely a step up and, more importantly, an improvement. The Aircross' biggest problem was its lack of aspirational value. Cars in its segment are among the most desirable vehicles in India, and rightfully so. The Aircross, on the other hand, lacked the premium feel and class that Indian buyers look for. Now, we can say it has been well updated and comes with a new, elegant interior that looks appealing. At Rs 8.29 lakh, it is one of the most value-for-money SUVs in India.
