Nissan Gravite

The Nissan Gravite is essentially a rebadged version of the Renault Triber, as Renault and Nissan are alliance partners and often build the same cars with design tweaks to give each model a distinctive identity. Moreover, Renault India now holds 100% ownership of the Chennai plant that manufactures Nissan models. From a technological and mechanical standpoint, the Triber and Gravite are identical, but they differ in styling. Now, let's take a look at its profile.

Front Facia

Gravite

The Nissan Gravite gets a distinctive front design that differentiates it from the Renault Triber. It features sleek LED projector headlamps with integrated LED DRLs, giving it a modern look. The bonnet also gets 'Gravite' lettering in chrome, which adds a premium touch.

At the centre, there is a large honeycomb-pattern grille with the Nissan logo, enhancing its visual presence. The bumper features LED fog lamps with sporty contrast accents, while front parking sensors add to its practicality. Overall, the Gravite's front profile looks sharper and more premium than its Renault sibling.

Side Profile

The side profile of the Nissan Gravite remains largely similar to the Triber but gets a few styling enhancements to create a distinctive look. It rides on 15-inch dual-tone flex wheels, which add a modern touch to its stance. The MPV also features chrome door handles, enhancing its premium appeal.

Additionally, the Gravite gets body cladding around the wheel arches and lower doors, giving it a slightly rugged character. There are also unique body graphics on the rear doors, which add a sporty and youthful element to the overall design.

Rear Profile

At the rear, the Nissan Gravite gets a clean yet distinctive design. It features LED tail lamps with a sharp lighting signature, connected by a chrome strip with the Nissan logo at the centre, enhancing the width of the vehicle. The tailgate also gets 'Gravite' lettering, adding to its premium appeal.

The rear bumper has a rugged look with heavy black cladding and a silver skid plate finish, along with reflectors placed vertically on either side. These elements give the Gravite a more SUV-like and sportier character compared to the Triber.

Interior

Inside, the Nissan Gravite gets a dual-tone cabin theme with wooden finish inserts, giving it a more premium feel. The dashboard features a twin- display setup, including a 7-inch digital driver display and an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system. In terms of features, it comes equipped with a push-start button, wireless phone charging, cruise control, chilled glovebox, automatic LED headlights, and rain-sensing wipers, enhancing overall convenience.

Safety is well covered with six airbags, ABS with EBD, ESC, tyre pressure monitoring system, rear parking sensors with camera, and ISOFIX child seat mounts. The Gravite retains its practical nature with a flexible 7-seater (5+2) layout, and the third-row seats can be removed to increase boot space, making it suitable for both family and luggage needs.
