Should I buy the Gravite?
The Nissan Gravite is ideal for buyers looking for an affordable and practical 7-seater with modern features and stylish design. It offers excellent value for money, spacious seating, and great flexibility with removable third-row seats, making it perfect for families and first-time buyers upgrading from a hatchback. If affordability, practicality, and everyday usability are your priorities, the Gravite is a strong choice.
- The Nissan Gravite features an imposing front fascia highlighted by a wide chrome strip above the grille, giving it a strong road presence. The front end also gets LED projector headlamps, a chunky sculpted bonnet, and a silver skid plate that adds a rugged touch to its MPV stance.
- Along the sides, the Gravite rides on 15-inch flex wheels and comes with a dual-tone roof and roof rails, enhancing its SUV-inspired styling. At the rear, it is equipped with LED tail-lamps, completing its modern and premium exterior design.
- It also features cool graphics across the rear door.
- Gravite MPV will be offered in five exterior colour options: white, onyx black, forest green, metallic grey, and a blade silver, and storm white, as revealed by Nissan India ahead of its debut.
Gravite body specifications:
- The Gravite is powered by a 1.0-litre naturally aspirated 3-cylinder petrol engine, paired with either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT gearbox, producing 72 PS and 96 Nm of torque.
- Nissan claims a fuel efficiency of 19.6 kmpl with the AMT and 19.3 kmpl with the manual gearbox.
- With seven occupants on board, the engine feels underpowered and fuel efficiency drops noticeably. However, with two or three people inside, performance feels adequate, and highway fuel efficiency is around 15 to 16 kmpl. That said, it isn’t the most refined 1.0-litre engine, but it gets the job done for everyday use.
-
It comes equipped with an 8-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. This allows seamless smartphone connectivity for navigation, calls, and media. It also enhances the cabin’s modern and premium appeal.
-
The driver display is all digital and provides all the information in an easy to read manner.
-
Six airbags are offered as standard, including front, side, and curtain airbags. This significantly improves occupant protection and aligns it with modern safety standards.
-
Equipped with JBL speakers.
-
The Nissan Gravite comes with cruise control, which improves highway comfort by maintaining a constant speed and reducing driver fatigue. It also gets front parking sensors for easier manoeuvring in tight spaces, along with automatic headlamps that improve visibility and convenience.
-
Additionally, removable third-row seats allow for more boot space when needed, enhancing overall practicality, while copious storage spaces, including a cooled glove box, further improve convenience and usability.
-
It will be available in a total of eight variants, and a dual-CNG kit will be introduced soon.
