Hyundai Exter

The Hyundai Exter boasts an SUV-like design with its upright stance, big body cladding, and roof rails. It gets a parametric horizontal slat piano black front grille, an H-shapes LED DRL, projector headlamps, a dynamic silver skid plate, and the distinctive Exter badging at the front profile. On the sides, it gets 15-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels with a distinctive design and big wheel arches to compliment its SUV styling. Moving to the rear it will boast an H-shaped tail lamp, a flat tailgate, and prominent silver skid plates on the bumper with integrated reflectors. It also gets high mounted stop lamp and shark fin antenna. The Exter comes in a total of 6 single-color choices and 3 dual-color options. The monotone palette includes Atlas White, Cosmic Blue, Ranger Khakhi, Fiery Red, Starry Night, and Titan Grey. For those interested in dual-tone combinations, there are options such as Atlas White with Abyss Black, Cosmic Blue with Abyss Black, and Ranger Khakhi with Abyss Black.

The interior of the Exter, much like other Hyundai cars, exudes a premium look and feel. It shares a similar dashboard layout with the Grand i10 NIOS, featuring an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system adorned with piano black garnish, a digital instrument cluster, turbine-shaped side aircon vents, and a dual shade finish on the dashboard. The seats are upholstered in leatherette material and bear the Exter branding. The front seats have integrated headrests, while the rear seats offer adjustable headrests. Neither the front nor the rear has armrests. Additionally, the rear seat configuration allows for full folding.

The Hyundai Exter will feature a 1.2-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine, delivering 82 bhp of power and 114 Nm of torque. This engine will be paired with both a clever AMT gearbox and a 5-speed manual gearbox. It boasts a claimed mileage of 19.4 km/l when coupled with the manual transmission and 19.2 km/l with the AMT gearbox. Another engine option for the Exter is a 1.2-liter petrol engine with CNG compatibility, producing 68 bhp of power and 95 Nm of maximum torque. This engine will be exclusively available with a 5-speed manual gearbox and is claimed to provide a fuel economy of 27.1 km/kg.
