The VinFast VF7 is among the two newest electric SUVs from the Vietnamese car maker to hit the Indian market. Thanks to local assembly, it has surprised the industry with its pricing, which makes it look very attractive. 1. Driver Aids

The VF7 comes equipped with a bunch of driver aids. It gets a Level 2 ADAS suite, and along with that comes adaptive cruise control, a driver monitoring system and a driver distraction warning. Additionally, the ADAS suite also consists of blind spot detection, lane keep assist, lane centering control, auto lane change warning, forward collision warning, automatic high beam, panic braking alert and more.
Variants Available: The Level 2 ADAS suite is available on the Wind Infinity, Sky, and Sky Infinity variants. However, blind spot detection and door-open warning is common to all five variants.
Competitor Check: The Mahindra XEV 9E and the MG ZS EV both offer a Level 2 ADAS suite, but while the Mahindra offers it from the mid-spec variant, the MG gets it on the top-spec variant only.
2. Powered Driver Seat

The VinFast VF7 comes equipped with power adjustability for the front seats. The driver seat can be adjusted to various levels for height and other aspects. Additionally, both the front seats receive ventilation as well.
Variants Available: The VF 7 gets a 6-step power adjustable driver seat from the base variant onwards, and additionally the 8-step power adjustable driver seat will be available from the Wind variant onwards.
Competitor Check: The XEV 9E offers a 6-way manually-adjustable driver seat, with the option of power adjustment from the mid-spec variants, while the MG ZS EV offers a power adjustable driver seat from the mid-spec variants.
3. Special Modes

The VF7 comes equipped with dedicated modes for various situations. To be precise, there are four modes to speak of. The Pet mode specifically keeps the air-con running in case you have to step out of your car while your pet is seated inside. There will be a message displayed on the screen which will convey that this mode has been turned on.
Additionally, it also gets a valet mode, camp mode, and a wash mode as well. The wash mode will lock the hood, charging flap, and the windows of the car while it gets washed.
Variants Available: These modes are available as standard across all five variants.
Competition Check: The MG ZS EV comes with a Valet Mode only, while the Mahindra XEV 9E gets different Club and Cozy modes, depending on the needs of the driver.
4. Battery Warranty And Free Charging
The VF7 comes with two battery pack options as we know; a 59.6kWh unit and a 70.8kWh unit, with claimed range figures of 438km and 510-532km respectively on a single charge. VinFast says it will offer ten years or 2,00,000km of battery warranty, along with free maintenance and free charging at VGreens charging stations till June 2028.
