Skoda is all set to launch a number of products in the Indian market and in the due efforts, the brand is now planning to launch the 2021 next-gen Skoda Octavia facelift in India in Q2 2021. The said model is the fourth-gen iteration of the Octavia and will be powered by a 2.0-L TSI petrol engine. As per the recent statement made by Zac Hollis, Director, Skoda India, the new Octavia will be launched in the country in Q2 2021. The brand's another new vehicle, the Vision IN SUV too will be launched shortly after the launch of the Octavia
This fourth-gen Octavia was unveiled in the international market in the year 2019. In the Indian market, this new Octavia will be getting a 2.0-L TSI petrol engine. This engine produces 187 bhp and 320 Nm of peak torque. A seven-speed DSG gearbox will be paired with this motor. It is worth noting that there will be no diesel engine on offer at the time of launch. Having said that, the new Octavia will be competing against the likes cars such as Honda Civic and Hyundai Elantra.

Talking about the features list, the new 2021 next-gen Skoda Octavia facelift will be offered with features like three-zone climate control, new two-spoke multi-functional steering wheel, sunroof, etc. In addition to this, the vehicle will also feature a 10-inch infotainment system and a new 10.25 inch fully digital instrument console. The vehicle will also come with a shift-by-wire gearstick.
