The bookings of the upcoming 2021 Volkswagen Tiguan 5-seater SUV has now been open, however, it is still on the unofficial scenes. Yes, several dealers across the country have been accepting the bookings of the soft off-roader SUV at a premium of Rs 50,000.
Sharing the highlights on the 2021 Volkswagen Tiguan then it comes with a 2.0-litre TSI petrol engine that is shared with its sibling, Tiguan Allspace. This motor generates 190 PS of power at 4200 RPM with a peak torque of 320 Nm from as low as 1500 RPM. This engine is mated to a 7-speed DSG gearbox.
The SUV has been listed on the official website and design-wise, it now looks aesthetically appealing. The front gets tweaked headlight design with integrated LED DRLs and the chrome grille submerges into the headlights. The four-slat grille suits well with the car along with the tweaked bumper design.

The side profile carries the sleeker design along with sharp lines and creases for that bolder look. It now sits on new 18-inch wheels that gels well with the profile. The rear design of the SUV comes with new LED taillights along with a tweaked bumper design.
The cabin carries an all-black colour scheme and we also have a new-age touchscreen infotainment system that is expected to feature wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. One also gets connected to car technology. Along with that, the air-con knobs are now replaced with touchpads. The same has been seen in the international models.
We expect the Tiguan to be launched in a single variant only that carries all the bells and whistles. The 5-seater SUV will carry a huge panoramic sunroof, three-zone climate control, digital instrument cluster, reclining rear bench and more.
