The German carmaker has again teased their upcoming 'Sports Activity Coupe' the 2022 BMW X4 SUV on its social media handles. The newly released photos reveal the details of the design closely.
BMW will be bringing the new X4 very soon to the Indian market as the teased photos indicate the production-ready car. While BMW has already started accepting bookings for the new X4 at an amount of Rs 50,000; the new car will bring a host of changes when it is launched in the Indian auto market.
BMW will also be bringing a special 'Dark edition' of the new X4 which has already been sold out before the launch.

2022 BMW X4 Design & Features
With subtle exterior and interior changes, the new upcoming X4 will also feature new technological advancements in it. On the exterior front, a redesigned front bumper along with slightly reworked headlights with new adaptive-LED projectors and DRLs will feature in the new car. The side profile shall remain mostly the same as the current generation but BMW will equip the new X4 with a new alloy wheel design. Similarly, at the rear end of the new X4 one can witness a revised rear bumper along with a slight change in the reflector positions.
On the inside, the new X4 has been embedded with a new touchscreen infotainment system, a 12.3-inch all-digital instrument display system with head-up display, wireless charging, panoramic sunroof, new leather-wrapped interiors, seats, etc.
2022 X4 Engine & Specifications
The new 2022 BMW X4 SUV will be offered in 3 various engine options which shall include a 2.0-Lt, turbo-petrol making a peak power of 250 hp and peak torque of 350 Nm. While the petrol iteration is limited to one engine option, BMW will offer the new X4 with 2 diesel engines. The first one is a 2.0-Lt, turbo-diesel, 4-cylinder making a peak power of 190 hp and peak torque of 400 Nm; while the second engine is a powerful 3.0-Lt, 6-cylinder, turbo-diesel which is capable of producing peak power of 265 bhp and peak torque of 620 Nm. All these engine options will feature a BMW manufacture 8-speed torque converter automatic transmission.
2022 BMW X4 Launch & Price
We expect the new X4 to be launched in India by the end of March 2022. The new price tag will surely be higher than the current price tag of Rs 67.50-71.50 Lakhs due to the incarnation of new technology and features. Once launched the new X4 will directly rival the likes of Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe luxury SUV.
