The upcoming 2022 Hyundai Stargazer was recently spied on test ahead of the global debut and launch in the Indonesian markets. To be based on a similar platform that also undepins other Hyundai and Kia mid-size SUVs, the Hyundai Stargazer will feature a premium and a comfortable cabin. Here are all the details that you should know about the upcoming Stargazer MPV. To start with, the new Hyundai Stargazer will feature a traditional cab-forward MPV layout with a tear-drop layout that helps in improving the cabin space. The front fascia will be largely dominated by a large grille and split headlamp design. Prominent LED DRLs too will attract a lot of attention. Unlike other Hyundai cars, the Stargazer is expected to miss out on the parametric grille. From the sides, the Stargazer might remind you of the Carens and will get squared wheel arches. A prominent shoulder line too will give a strong character to the car. At the rear, new and large LED taillights along with hexagonal windshield will give it an unique identity.

The new Hyundai Stargazer is expected to share its powetrain options with the Hyundai Creta. In the Indonesian markets, the car is expected to debut with a 1.5-L petrol engine that will be offered for the first time there. In the Indian market, the Stargazer is also expected to offer other additional engine options that include a diesel and a turbo petrol engine. The buyers will also be able to opt for the manual as well as automatic gearboxes with the package.
While the official launch timeline is yet to be revealed, the Hyundai Stargazer will first make its public debut in Indonesia. Once launched in India, the Stargazer will rival against the likes of the Kia Carens, Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, Maruti Suzuki XL6 and other premium MPVs currently on sale in India.
