BMW India has updated the 3 Series GT with a new Shadow edition. BMW has now continued the GT body style with the new generation 3 Series. The 3 Series GT Shadow Edition is based on the last-gen 3 Series and it will be discontinued soon. The 3 Series Shadow Edition is launched at Rs 42.5 lakh and offered in a single trim which is 330i M sport. As the name suggests, the Shadow edition features many black bits and pieces all around.

The front profile of the new BMW 3 Series GT Shadow Edition gets blacked-out kidney grille, blacked-out ORVMs and sporty lower grille. As it is offered in M sport trim only, we get to sporty bumpers and M sport wheels. The 18-inch wheels wrapped with 245/50 rubber are blacked out to give it a sporty feel. The window line is finished in chrome and we also get faux air ducts behind the front wheels. The rear LED taillights come with smoke effect and we also get twin exhaust pipes lower down. BMW has also offered a huge panoramic sunroof to make your picnics exciting.

The interiors of the 3 Series GT Shadow Edition are not up to date. And that is obvious as it is based on the previous generation of the 3 Series. Nonetheless, you may miss on some new-age features but it packs all the necessary features. The layout is basic but boasts of great quality and feel. The centre of the dashboard gets a free-standing 8.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system which supports 3D maps and Apple Car Play. The driver's binnacle is analogue and some buyers adore analogue dials over digital screens.

The power is channelled straight to the rear wheels and thanks to Launch control, it can do 0-100 km/h in just 6.1 seconds. Talking about the Price, BMW has priced the Shadow edition at Rs 42.5 lakh ex-showroom. At this price, it is cheaper than the new 330i M Sport sedan.
