This is every car owner's nightmare! A video is doing the rounds of various Whatsapp groups which shows a bullock cart, being driven in the wrong lane hitting a vehicle and damaging it in the process. The location seems to be Karnataka with some reports suggesting that the carts were returning back from the Saundatti Yellamma temple.
As seen in the video above, the car, most probably a Maruti, is driving over a bridge and the co-passenger is shooting the location around the area. However, he notices two bullock carts approaching them at quick speeds. It seems the carts were racing with each other and the one being driven in the wrong race judged the oncoming car wrongly. Before the cart owner could realize, it was too late. He does seem to try all his best to stop the bulls and even tried changing the lane but it was too late.
The cart ends up hitting the poor car, with one of the bulls eventually smashing the windscreen and breaking it open. We are sure there must have been considerable damage to the bonnet and the bumper too. The cart driver then proceeds to leave the scene but the driver is seen getting out and chasing the culprits.
We are not sure what happened next but one thing is for sure - the owner will not have a hard time explaining the damages to the insurance firm as everything has been caught on camera. This is also why a dash cam is necessary these days! Further, if you ever get into a such a situation, it is best to stay calm, alert and have your seat belts ON!
