TVS Scooty Pep Plus draws power from the same 87.8cc single-cylinder engine that is now fuel injected and produces a peak power output of 5.36 hp and 6.5 Nm of torque @ 3500 rpm. These figures seem low but remember, this scooty is geared towards females and is rather lightweight at just 93 kgs. The engine is mated to a CVT transmission and as now it gets FI, the price has seen a decent bump in BS6 guise. TVS Scooty Pep Plus is the cheapest BS6 scooter with electric start and similar body structure including a flat footboard.

TVS Scooty Pep Plus doesn't have a direct rival in the market as other scooters are more expensive and generate more power.
