Daimler India CV has decided to Initiate COVID-19 support by providing better assistance at dealerships, fast-tracking pending claims, providing their people with salary support and including Rs.2-lakh group insurance-all as a part of their COVID-19 support package.
The company also stated that it will provide aid for its frontline employees by presenting financial and medical benefits. DICV is generously providing Rs.1-lakh COVID medical insurance and free vaccination to its employees and gift coupons for technicians.
"The company is committed to looking after the BharatBenz community; We take care of our customers, partners and employees with practical, effective support. This package has been specifically created for our dealer partners to address the two most critical needs of the hour - financial and medical assistance," said Rajaram Krishnamurthy, Vice President for marketing, sales, and customer services at DICV.
In addition to all this, the company has opened a vaccination centre at its plant in Oragadam which provides service not only to its employees but also members of the local community. DICV has also decided to offer free vaccination to truck drivers of all brands visiting the facility.

DICV has been actively participating in matters wherein social responsibility comes into play. The company has been generous in helping out the community in many such ways. Truly an act that must be applauded and supported by the government.
