Leading Indian Automobile manufacturer, Tata Motors, has finally announced the extension of warranty and free service period for all its commercial vehicle (CV) lineup. The warranty and free service period of CVs which was to originally expire in the period between 1st April and 30th June of 2021 have been extended due to the unforeseen circumstances brought upon by the COVID-19 pandemic in India.
Due to the restrictions announced by the different state government in India in the hope to reduce the spread of COVID-19 virus, Tata Motors has decided to extend the warranty and free service period. The automaker known popularly for sustainable mobility solutions has announced a one-month extension which is applicable across all the Indian states and union territories of the country.
The manufacturer stated that its main priority as of now is the safety and health of its customers, partners and all the communities. Tata Motors mentioned that they are willing to provide its customers with a convenient after-sales experience even during such unpredictable times.
According to Tata, this extension is meant for the smooth running of the transportation sector so that goods and essential services could continue to reach places where it is required.

The following are the details of the extension that Tata Motors announced regarding after-sales services.
1. One-month extension for free services of Tata CVs.
2 One-month extension of the warranty period for all Tata CV customers.
3. One-month validity extension of all active contracts under Tata Motors Suraksha
4..Extension of Tata Suraksha AMC for all those with an expiry during restrictions announced across states in India;
5. One-month extension for customers to avail the AMC services
