So, being a facelift, it will get redesigned LED headlights, grille, bumper, alloy wheels, and rear section. Apart from these obvious changes, it is also expected to feature the new illuminated grille function placed horizontally, as introduced on the new Kushaq. Both cars are essentially built on the same MQB-A0-IN platform, but come with different body styles.

The photos showcase the front section with new bumper featuring a unsual design, that can make it look more sportier than ever. Also, the placement of fog-lamps is also very different. Talking about rear-section, the camouflages doesn't let anything go out. Lastly, the 1.5L variant will come with rear disc brakes for improved braking performance.

Changes to the interior will include a new MID, an updated infotainment screen, and most likely a panoramic sunroof or rear-seat massaging function. These features were introduced in the 2026 Kushaq, helping it stand out in its segment, as none of its rivals offer rear-seat massaging seats. Moreover, the AC issue is expected to be resolved with the use of a variable-geometry compressor, replacing the earlier fixed-geometry compressor.
Verdict
Overall, the upcoming Skoda Slavia facelift appears to be a meaningful upgrade rather than just a cosmetic refresh. With improved features, better cabin experience, enhanced AC performance, and added convenience tech, the sedan could become an even stronger contender in the premium midsize segment. If priced competitively, it has the potential to attract both enthusiasts and family buyers alike.
