Last Updated on 21st Mar'24 : Skoda has unveiled the concept of its upcoming EV named Epiq. Slated for its debut in 2025, this vehicle will be a result of collaboration between Skoda and VW.

Price : The Skoda Epiq is expected to be priced in the range of Rs 23.00 Lakh to Rs 25.00 Lakh.

Battery : It is expected to feature a battery capacity for the European market ranging between 38kWh and 56kWh. The EV is likely to be equipped with a single motor.

Range : The EV will boast a claimed range of over 400 km.

Features : "It is expected to get a free-floating 13-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, wireless charging, panoramic glass roof, 360-degree camera, ISOFIX Anchorage Points, TMPS, V2L capabilities, ADAS, and more.

Rivals : It will continue to compete with the MG ZS EV and the Hyundai Kona Electric.

Right now I am using Tata EV , want to try different brand like Škoda. Waiting for another option with better range and less sensor, prefer less sensor contains car, mostly like mechanical car.

The EV in this section are giving far more battery power and range, in lesser price range around 18-21 on road price. Though the brand matter.

Škoda is a fantastic brand, however this car should have been priced under 20lakhs. 25lakhs is too much as on road price with taxes will reach 30lakhs, which will be pocket heavy.

They Should price around 16 lakhs in India to compete with Tata, Maruti & Mahindra other wise it would not sell . Skoda should aim to sell it to middle class of India.

This should be affordable price for India in EV segment like Kushaq model. This is a premium model but can afford by upper middle class. Similar way Skoda EV - this model should be under 20Lakhs.

I had bitter experience with slavia recently. The battery was dead in 30 days after taking delivery which the company is still to address. But my past experience was good.

Reduce the price and performance shall be high so that it can compete in Indian market and inline with Skoda standard and reputation earned internationally as well as in the Indian market.
