Italy is the centre of the pandemic and the cases have been increasing at a fast pace, over 24000 patients have died because of COVID -19. Ferrari and Fiat are in talks with Italy's biggest Ventilator manufacturer to help the country and its citizens who are suffering from COVID-19. The speed-up manufacturing of the life-saving ventilators will cut excessive deaths and will be able to treat patients better.

Siare engineering, Italy's largest ventilator manufacturer is in talks with Italian carmaker 'Fiat' and Italian sports car maker 'Ferrari' to help them with outsourcing and assembly of ventilator parts. Siare Engineering stated, Were talking to Fiat Chrysler, Ferrari and Marelli to try to understand if they can lend us a hand in this process for the electronics part".
They are yet to decide the method of production of ventilators. Either Fiat and Ferrari will ask their workers to help Siare to boost up the production of ventilators or both carmakers will use their own car's assembly lines to produce more ventilators. Siare has a monthly capacity of producing 160 ventilators and Rome has asked them to boost up the production to 500 units a month to fight this pandemic. Siare will need some help from the carmakers to boost production since they will increase manpower and overall resources.
Rumours also suggest that Ferrari is about to start producing ventilators in their Maranello headquarters which is very close to Siare' manufacturing unit but Ferrari is yet to give a final word on this decision and commencement of production. Italy is one of the countries which have been hit the most by the global pandemic. Most of the countries are suffering from COVID-19 impact and the world healthcare system is under pressure too. In these scarce conditions, we all should join our hands and defeat this pandemic.
