The Indian automobile market is one of the fastest-growing markets in the world. Even though last year, the sector saw a slowdown, it remains one of the top markets in the world. This year, two new manufacturers - MG Motor and Kia entered the Indian market with all-new products, and they are doing very well on the sales charts. This year, we will get to see many new manufacturers in the Indian market and including Citroen. One such manufacturer that will officially enter the Indian market is Great Wall, and it will launch two new brands in the Indian market.

Great Wall Motors released a video on an official Twitter account that says '"Namaste India! All set for great things ahead." The manufacturer will showcase its range of products in the upcoming 2020 Auto Expo that will happen in February 2020.

The Chinese manufacturer will launch two new brands, namely Haval and Ora, in the Indian market. The Haval brand specialises on the SUVs while the Ora brand exclusively manufactures electric vehicles. The popularity of the SUVs is increasing in India, and the new manufacturer will have its strategy in place. Also, a lot of manufacturers have launched Electric Vehicles in India, and in the future, EVs will become more popular.
Great Wall Motors is currently working to secure a production site in India. The land procurement may happen by the end of next year. According to sources, the manufacturer may buy the General Motor's Talegaon plant in Maharashtra.
The first product from the manufacturer is likely an SUV. The manufacturer may launch the Haval H6 in the market and on a later date, may bring in the H4. The manufacturer has started testing Haval H6 in India, and many have spotted the vehicle on the Indian roads too.
It is also possible that Great Wall Motors will bring in the products via CBU and CKD route until the assembly line is ready. In 2019, MG Motors, which is a British brand under Chinese ownership, entered the Indian market with the Hector. Currently, the Hector is doing very well on the sales chart and in the future, the popularity is expected to increase.
