And buoyed by the positive response on the schemes, the company is now coming up with even better plans. Hero Electric has just unveiled the new 'Keep Your Air As Clean As This' Campaign. As we all know, India was under lockdown for 70-odd days and during this period, everything came to a complete standstill. The industries were closed, vehicles were not plying on the roads and the air became cleaner and fresher than ever. The pollution level drastically dropped during those days and this new campaign has a similar intention to curb air pollution. Hero Electric wants to promote electric vehicles and thus they have launched this campaign which coincides with the World Environment Day.
Hero Electric has introduced this unique 'Keep your Air as Clean as This' campaign to accelerate the adoption of its zero polluting electric bikes. The company has announced an attractive online scheme where-in every 50th customer will get the booked E-bike absolutely free. The electric two-wheelers can be booked online between June 1st to June 20th and the customers will also get a cash discount of Rs. 3000.
That's not all, the online buyers who purchase Hero Electric two-wheelers will also automatically become eligible for a lucky draw. Through this lucky draw contest, ten fortunate customers will be winning Hero Electric's push electric scooter called Glyde as a complimentary gift. These limited period offers are applicable on all Hero Electric models except the Flash lead-acid low-speed model, Glyde and Velocity.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Sohinder Gill, CEO, Hero Electric said, "The lockdown during the COVID crisis has clearly established how the absence of fossil fuel vehicles can lead to a clear blue sky and how we can all breathe much cleaner air by switching to electric vehicles. During our virtual town-hall, I was elated to hear from hundreds of the recent customers about the environment as one of the reasons of buying our electric bikes and that led us to this thought of celebrating "KEEP YOUR CITY AS CLEAN AS THIS" in the month of June."

The booking amount of the Hero Electric Scooters is fixed at Rs. 2,999 (non-refundable), irrespective of the model. Moreover, since a substantial part of Hero Electrics sale comes from referrals, cash benefit of Rs. 1,000 will be offered to existing Hero electric customers for reference purchase. The company also offers three days "no questions asked" return policy under which the customers who return the electric scooter within 3 days of purchase, will be completely refunded the paid amount.

The current portfolio of Hero Electric Scooters includes Hero Flash, Nyx, Optima, Photon, Flash, Dash and also the ER (Extended Range) variants of the same along with Glyde Push Scooter and Velocity E-Cycle, which are also powered by high-quality lithium-ion batteries. Moreover, the company has also showcased the AE 47 E-Motorcycle and AE-3 e-Trike at the 2020 Auto Expo which will be launched soon in India.
