
With the advancement in technologies, automotive manufacturers have to adopt modern machineries and methods to stay up to date. Moreover, with inflation, the manufacturers find it difficult to keep up with the rising input costs. Therefore, this expense is eventually passed on to the customer's pocket. Hero MotoCorp is one of the biggest two wheeler manufacturers in Indian and has now announced a price hike in the upcoming month of April!

Hero MotoCorp recently announced a price hike of INR 2000 for all its scooters and motorcycles from April 5 2022. This price increase would reflect in the ex-showroom price of the scooters and motorcycles and has been done to offset the effect of rising manufacturing costs of the products.
Multiple manufacturers including luxury car manufacturers like Audi, BMW, Mercedes Benz have marginally pushed up the ex-showroom prices for their offerings along with Toyota Kirloskar Motor which announced a 4 per cent hike from the next month.

Hero Motocorp Motorcycle currently has 16 motorcycles and 4 scooters in its portfolio with most of these two-wheelers range belonging to the 100 cc to 150 cc engine category along with some of the premium offerings which are offered with either 160 cc or 200 cc engine. Hero MotorCorp scooter segment is exciting too! It comprises the 125 cc Maestro Edge, which takes over the likes of Aprilia SR160 and the TVS Ntorq.
