Skoda launched the Karoq at a price of Rs 24.99 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi just a few months ago. And now, to boost up the sales of this T-Roc rival, Skoda is offering up to Rs 1 lakh of discount on Karoq for October 2020. Furthermore, their C-Segment sedan, Rapid is also being offered with a generous discount for this month.

Skoda Karoq
With a Rs 1 lakh worth of discount, it seems like they carmaker is struggling for sales. Reports suggest that it's rival, Volkswagen T-Roc which is priced at just Rs 19.99 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi is sold out for its first batch in India. That means almost 1000 units of T-Roc sold.

This 1 lakh discount of Karoq is further segregated into Rs 30,000 as a corporate bonus + Rs 35,000 as exchange and another Rs 35,000 as loyalty benefits to current Skoda owners. Also note, you can also approach your nearest dealerships for further discounts on the Karoq.
Skoda Karoq is powered by a 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine which generates 148 bhp with a maximum torque of 250 Nm at just 1500 rpm. This engine is mated to a 7-speed DSG gearbox and is also offered with paddle shifters to make for quicker acceleration.

Skoda Rapid
One of the most affordable C-Segment sedans, Rapid, is also being offered with a total discount of up to Rs 25,000. Furthermore, you can also get the dealer based discount when you are choosing particular variants. The Rapid comes in six variants - Rider, Rider Plus, Ambition, Onyx, Style and Monte Carlo.
Both the Rider and Rider Plus got so popular in the Indian market that there is no discount available for these variants. Not even the basic corporate discount which carmakers have. Only variants to get offers are the Ambition and Style which gets Rs 25,000 as exchange bonus and if you are good at bargaining then the dealer will surely make the deal work in your favour.
