Car discounts are widely popular in the Indian market and often carmakers bring you lucrative deals to increase sales and customer support. Here, we have combined a list of few SUVs that are offered with the highest discount this April 2021. What are those SUVs? Let's find out!
Renault Duster
It was once a popular mid-size SUV that lost its charm to the Hyundai Creta. Even with Creta's launch, the sales of the Duster was more than enough but after the stricter BS6 emission norms from April 2020, the diesel engine had to be discontinued and it then came with petrol engines only.

Renault is offering th highest discount of Rs 90,000 on the Duster. The RXS variant with 1.3L turbo petrol gets Rs 90,000 discount which is further seen as Rs 30,000 as cash, Rs 30,000 as corporate and another Rs 30,000 as exchange. The top-spec RXZ gets only Rs 30,000 as exchange and Rs 30,000 corporate. The 1.5L Duster gets Rs 60,000 off on any variant you choose
Mahindra XUV500
It is one such SUV that has been in the market for several years and is known as the proper SUV in a budget. Surely, the AWD is a miss in the newer models but the stance and the engine makes up for the immense power it has to offer. It carries a 2.2-litre turbocharged diesel unit which makes as much as 153 bhp with 360 Nm of peak torque. It gets a 6-speed manual and an optional 6-speed torque converter unit.
Mahindra is offering a hefty discount of Rs 80,800 on the XUV500 and this goes as follows - Rs 36,800 as cash, Rs 15,000 as accessories, Rs 20,000 on exchange and another Rs 9,000 on the corporate front. In other news, Mahindra has confirmed that instead of updating the XUV500 they are bringing in the newer XUV700 which will rival Tata Safari, MG Hector Plus and Hyundai Alcazar.
Tata Harrier
This mid-size SUV changed Tata's game altogether and when its updated version was showcased at the 2020 Auto Expo it brought in a different game altogether. It comes packed with a plethora of features like the widest panoramic sunroof, electrically adjustable driver's seat, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, automatic climate control, six airbags, hill hold control, traction control and among others.

Tata is offering a total discount of Rs 70,000 on the Harrier but this is limited to the standard variants only. Both the Camo and Dark edition gets Rs 45,000 worth of discount only. The prices of Tata Harrier starts from Rs 14 lakh and the top model fetches till Rs 20.46 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi.
Mahindra XUV300
The baby SUV from the Indian carmaker and the safest compact SUV in the market, XUV300 competes with the likes of Tata Nexon, Maruti Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Nissan Magnite, Ford Ecosport, Renault Kiger and Toyota Urban Cruiser.
The diesel W4 and W8 (O) gets a Rs 4825 cash discount and the W6 and W8 get Rs 10,000 as cash offer. All the variants get accessories worth Rs 5,000, Rs 25,000 as exchange and another Rs 4,500 as a corporate offer.
The cash offer on the petrol variants of the XUV300 are as follows - Rs 2500(W6) and Rs 5,000 W8 and W8(O). The Rs 5,000 accessories are reserved for W6/W8/W8(O). The exchange offer of Rs 25,000 and Rs 4,500 as corporate offer sticks like the diesel.
Mahindra Scorpio
This Indian carmaker is leading the way in the SUV department with huge discounts. Like the XUV500 which gets the updated design, the Scorpio is undergoing a new development change. It will come with revamped styling, mechanicals and features.
The current model of the Scorpio is offered with a discount of Rs 5,000 as a cash offer, Rs 10,000 as accessories, Rs 15,000 as exchange bonus and another Rs 4,500 as corporate. Mahindra Scorpio is priced from Rs 11.98 lakh and the top model fetches till Rs 16.56 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi.
Maruti Brezza
One of the top-selling SUV, Maruti Brezza has been in the market for quite some time now. Earlier, it only came with a diesel engine and it was a number one SUV but with the loss of 1.3L DDiS diesel unit, the sales dropped to a few units and competitors like Ford Ecosport, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon and Mahindra XUV300 had an edge for the diesel buyers.
Currently, Maruti is offering a discount of Rs 30,000 on the Brezza which includes Rs 10,000 as cash and another Rs 20,000 as exchange. However, this is limited to LXI and VXI while the ZXI and ZXI+ get Rs 20,000 exchange only. In other news, the in-house 1.5L diesel unit is expected to come in the Brezza later this year.
