Triumph Motorcycles recently launched the all-new 2021 Triumph Trident 660 in India. The Triumph Trident 660 is an all-new middle-weight roadster from the house of this Iconic British two-wheeler manufacturer. Its launch price is Rs. 6.95 lakhs, Ex-showroom pan India and it is the most affordable Triumph motorcycle to be currently on sale in India. Today, we have for you the First Look Review of the India-spec new 2021 Triumph Trident 660.

Triumph Trident 660 - Looks and Colour Options

The new Triumph Trident 660 is a handsome-looking naked streetfighter. It boasts of an aggressive stance and looks striking. At the front, it gets an all-LED headlamp with Triumph's branding, slim self-cancelling all-LED turn indicators and a LED taillamp. The motorcycle gets a single-piece seat and there are around 45 dedicated accessories for the motorcycle. The Triumph Trident 660 is available in India in four different colour options. They are Crystal White, Sapphire Black, Silver Ice & Diablo Red (dual-tone) and Matte Jet Black & Matte Silver Ice (dual-tone).

Triumph Trident 660 - Engine and Transmission

The Triumph Trident 660 is powered by an all-new BS6 compliant 660cc, liquid-cooled, inline three-cylinder engine. This motor churns out 81 PS of maximum power at 10,250 RPM and 64 Nm of peak torque at 6,250 RPM. The engine comes mated to a six-speed manual gearbox and it gets a slip and assist clutch as standard. It also gets two riding modes. They are Road and Rain along with switchable traction control (integrated into the riding modes) and ride by wire throttle.

Triumph Trident 660 - Tyres, Brakes and Features

The Triumph Trident 660 is based on a new tubular steel perimeter frame. For suspension duties, it gets premium 41 mm USD forks at the front from Showa while at the rear, it gets a Showa mono-shock absorber with pre-load adjustment. The braking duties are performed by twin 310 mm discs at the front and a single 255 mm disc at the rear. It gets Nissin brake callipers and dual-channel ABS as standard. It runs on 17-inch radial tyres. Talking about features, it gets a multi-function TFT display with a host of features that can be accessed via the My Triumph Connectivity System accessory module.

Finally, talking about the price, so the new Triumph Trident 660 has been launched in India at Rs. 6.95 lakhs, Ex-showroom Delhi. It doesn't have any direct rivals in India but indirectly it rivals against the likes of the Kawasaki Z650, Honda CB 650R etc. Triumph Trident 660 also gets 2-years / unlimited kilometres warranty and segment-best 16,000 kilometres service interval.
