Tata Motors is on fleek with their launches in 2020. Their premium hatchback, Altroz hits the competitors right with the price point and the facelifted Nexon is also on the offer. Along with the Nexon, Tata Motors has also launched Tiago and Tigor facelift which comes with BS6 engines.
Both BS6 facelift models of Tiago and Tigor from Tata Motors sit at a price of Rs 4.60 lakh and Rs 5.45 lakh respectively. Comparing it with the BS4 models then the prices sit at a premium of Rs 20,000 and Rs 10,000 respectively. The highlight of the facelifted models is design changes, engine upgradation and discontinuation of the 1.05-litre diesel engine.
Now coming to the cosmetic changes then both the cars receives slimmer headlamp design which now looks agile. The front bumper is restyled and so is the housing of the fog lights. The air dams now receive a sharper cut and both the cars receive raised bonnet to comply with the updated pedestrian safety norms. The rear too sees a restyled bumper along with tweaked taillight design.

Feature-wise, the top trims of both the cars get a larger 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system supporting Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Tata Motors also provides a Harman audio set up along with automatic climate control, drive modes and automatic climate control. Both the cars come with 15-inch alloy wheels.
Under the hood, the 1.2L naturally aspirated petrol engine continues with the facelifted Tiago and Tigor models but now in BS6 disguise. As said above, the oil burner is now discontinued. The petrol engine continues to churn out 86 bhp and 113 Nm of torque. Transmission option sticks to a 5-speed manual and an AMT gearbox.

Recently, the Global NCAP results came out for Tiago and Tigor. The cars received a four-star rating, 12.52/17 for adult occupancy and 34.15/49 for child occupancy. Both the cars get dual airbags, front seat belt reminder, high-speed alert system, rear parking sensors and ABS with EBD as safety features.
