Trinity Uranus RS E-Scooter Debuts; 110 Kmph Top Speed, 100 Km Range - Check Details

Trinity Uranus RS e-scooter has made its global debut with 110 kmph of claimed top speed & 100 km of riding range on a full charge.

Germany-based electric mobility start-up Trinity has debuted its latest offering. Branded as Trinity Uranus RS e-scooter, the EV delivers a claimed riding range of 100 km. Additionally, the electric scooter can touch a top speed of 110 kmph. Priced at 6,388 Euros (Rs 5.29 lakhs approximately), the Uranus e-scooter will be available in the global markets by May 2022.

The EV mobility sector has witnessed a consistent rise in sales in the recent past globally. With the new players entering into the manufacturing of new EVs, the electric technology just keeps getting better. With its headquarters based in Germany, Trinity is one such new entrance in this segment of mobility. The Uranus RS is a product that the manufacturer anticipates; will change its course of growth to positive.

Speaking of the Uranus RS e-scooter, the design is simple yet tasteful. The curvy overall body design is supported via the chrome treatment all around. The front fascia comprises the circular LED headlight and turns indicators embedded in the front body panel. Multiple-spoke alloy wheels provide the scooter with a higher stance. At the rear end, a large smiling LED tail light section provides the e-scooter appropriate dimensional look. Trinity has equipped the Uranus RS with utmost tech such as - various riding modes, Bluetooth connectivity, disc brakes on both tyres, and fast charging as well.

Technically, the Uranus RS is equipped with a 72V/32Ah battery pack. This Li-ion battery works along with a 15 Hp of peak power-producing electric motor to propel the e-scooter. This leads to a top speed of 110 kmph and a claimed riding range of 100 km on a single full charge. Trinity has used different riding modes to distribute the use of power. In the Eco mode, the scooter can achieve a top speed of 55 kmph only but contrary it can do 100 km of riding range. Similarly, the Sport mode is for highway riding or overtaking at high speeds. In sport mode, Uranus can touch the 110 kmph of top speed as well.

Trinity has plans for international markets as well. For now, the focus remains on the European market primarily. Although, the company plans to introduce this e-scooter in the growing EV markets like India, soon. If it comes to India, the main competition will remain with the likes of Ather 450X, Bajaj Chetak, and Ola S1 Pro.
