Pros & Cons of Bajaj Pulsar 125
Bajaj Pulsar 125 Detailed Review
Design and look wise, Pulsar 125 Split Seat resembles the other Pulsar series motorcycles. The same old design enjoys a cult following. Although, the design has now started to grow old and boring. The split seat design is a plus point as none of the other motorcycles in the segment provide this. Overall the Pulsar 125 Split seat is the same as the Pulsar 150 or the Pulsar 180 so it gets the look and also good riding experience.
Summary
The overall design of Pulsar is iconic but boring as it is getting old now.
Dimension wise, Pulsar 125 Split Seat is a big motorcycle according to the segment benchmarks. The big-bike feel is one of the reasons the prospective owners still buy the Pulsar. Despite the big dimensions, Pulsar 125 is easy to handle and manoeuvre through the tight city roads congested with traffic. It measures 2,042 mm in length, 765 mm, 1,060 mm in height and gets a wheelbase of 1,320 mm.
Summary
The overall dimensions of the Pulsar 125 Split Seat are the biggest in the segment.
Bajaj Pulsar 125 Split Seat uses the tried and tested 124.4cc, single-cylinder, twin-spark DTS-i engine. This engine has been tested to its metal by Bajaj. It produces a peak power of 11.63 hp and a peak torque of 10.8 Nm. These figures are decent enough for city performance. The rider will not get an underpowered feel from this engine. Bajaj has used a 5-speed gearbox to deliver the power. This engine is very fuel-efficient and real-world fuel economy can be achieved over 45 kmpl. It is one of the greatest factors of sales.
Summary
The Pulsar 125 Split Seat offers adequate performance for city riding & is very fuel-efficient as well.
Bajaj offers the Pulsar 125 Split Seat with an 80/100-R17 front tyre and a 100/90-R17 rear tyre setup. This setup allows better handling within the city limits and helps achieve better mileage as well. Pulsar 125 comes equipped with a front disc brake and a rear drum brake setup. A single-channel ABS is also provided for better safety. Feature-wise, Pulsar 125 is not as well equipped as the rivals. The instrument cluster is semi-digital and carried from the older Pulsar. A little less is offered in terms of features for the Pulsar 125 Split Seat. Overall, the Pulsar 125 split seat offer you the best your money can buy.
Summary
