Bajaj Pulsar F250 Expert Verdict

Bajaj Pulsar F250 Detailed Review

  • Pulsar F250 Looks And Design

The Bajaj Pulsar F250 is more or less the same bike as the Pulsar N250. Apparently, Bajaj has played with the styling of the F252 to replace its most iconic bike i.e. the Pulsar 220F. The Bajaj Pulsar F250 appears to be more aggressive and sporty than its 220F sibling. It's finished off with a smoked visor that should give adequate wind protection when the rider is fully tucked. Each side of the rear panel has a single-piece panel with the F250 sticker on it. The tail panels, too, appear to be sharper than those on the Pulsar 220F. The all-new aerodynamic Pulsar 250 draws attention thanks to its design principles of 'sculptural purity.' It features a dramatic tone-on-tone interaction of metalized dual colors and Satin silver components with metallic hues. It has an HD projector headlight and LED DRL’s up at the front as well.

A cut-off shield is also present to guarantee that the light emitted by these types of headlights i.e HD projector headlights is properly oriented. This assists in directing the light towards the road. Projector headlights feature a very sharp cut-off, thanks to the shield. The F250 has got wide tail panels. Projector headlights are significantly brighter. They're less likely to blind other drivers. The front-end design looks like a combination of the 220 Pulsar and the Pulsar AS 200. The F250 also has clip-on handlebars which provide grip and stability to the rider while riding it. The seats are large and comfortable. The seat height is 790mm. The problem can be solved and the driver's ergonomics improved by using the easy seat height adjustment feature. Better seating posture also implies the driver will not feel tired as soon while driving long distances.

The F250 has an aggressive and sporty look. It draws attention from the crowd, thanks to the design.

  • Pulsar F250 Dimensions

The dimensions and size of the Pulsar F250 are sleek yet butch altogether. Bajaj has designed the F250 to cater the buyers who want a fast sports bike but with a semi-fairing for aided capabilities like touring. The Bajaj Pulsar F250 has a kerb weight of 162 kilograms. The F250 has a wheelbase of 1351mm and the fuel capacity of the vehicle is 14 liters. The front brake has a diameter of 300mm and the rear brake has a diameter of 230mm. It has a ground clearance of 165mm which is not too much but enough to prevent damage to the vehicle while going on speed brakers. Because of the moderate ground clearance, the underbelly may not scrape against a pothole and cause damage.

The overall dimensions are decent with a sufficient fuel capacity of 14 liters. The motorcycle is a little on the heavier side, weighing 162 kilograms.

  • Pulsar F250 Engine Performance and Mileage

Bajaj has used the same engine and technical specifications for the Pulsar F250 as it uses on the N250. It comes equipped with a 4-stroke single-cylinder air/oil-cooled motor that powers the Pulsar F250. The new model's engine has a displacement of 249.07cc. It outputs 24.5 horsepower @ 8750rpm and 21.5 pound-feet of torque @ 6500rpm. It comes mated to a 5-speed transmission. Bajaj has also included a slipper and assist clutch to prevent the rear wheel from locking up during severe downshifts and to lessen clutch lever effort. It aids in the reduction of overall momentum and unexpected forces within the transmission. The overall performance of the F250 is amazing as the throttle response is very precise and there is ample torque available on hand seldom. The main area where this engine shines is its mid-range RPMs; delivering the power flawlessly to the rider on demand.

The Bajaj Pulsar F250 is equipped with a powerful 250cc 4-stroke fuel-injected engine. It takes the distinctive 'Pulsar rush' to new heights with an output of 18 kW (24.5 PS) and a peak torque of 21.5 Nm.

  • Pulsar F250 Tyres Brakes and Features

It is the amazing tyres and brake setup that makes the Bajaj Pulsar F250 stand apart from the crowd. The ride and balance are authoritative as well as confidence-inspiring altogether due to the amazing brakes and tyres of the Pulsar F250. Bajaj has equipped the Pulsar F250 with a traditional telescopic fork and mono-shock configuration as far as the underpinnings are concerned. A 300mm front and 230mm rear disc with single-channel ABS is included in the braking system. In many driving situations, ABS assists you in coming to a faster stop when you panic brake. ABS allows you to keep steering control of your car even when stopping distances are increased. When your vehicles are equipped with ABS, several insurance providers give premium discounts. For the price, it's a little disappointing to see a single-channel unit.

The bike rides on 17-inch alloy wheels with MRF tyres measuring 100/80 in the front and 130/70 in the rear. The manufacturer was kind enough to include a few extra features. A USB charging connector is included in addition to the all-around LED illumination (located behind the handlebar). The semi-digital cluster has also made it to the new 250, in a completely different design. The speedometer, trip meter, real-time mileage, distance to empty, gear position indicator, clock, and fuel level reading are all shown on a digital screen. The bike maker has employed a 300mm front disc and a 230mm rear disc for braking, with single-channel ABS.

Tubeless tyres eliminate the risk of Silly Punctures. One of the most common causes of tube tyre punctures is when the tube becomes pinched between the tyre and the rim. Although it may appear to be a stupid explanation, a puncture is a puncture, and it is not a pleasant sight. It's also capable of running at lower pressure. The pressure of the air inside the tube or tyre changes, and tyres frequently run at lower pressures. When the pressure is low, a tube can be constricted, resulting in a puncture. Tubeless tyres, on the other hand, do not have this problem

ABS plays a crucial role in the safety of the user. The tubeless tyres also ensure the same. There are many features as well such as a USB charging connector, real-time mileage, and many more.
